There are millions of gamers in the world, split up into different categories. Starting from the lowest rank and going up.
The Pac-man Gamer: These, umm, people? (Certainly not gamers) usually play handheld games and sometimes solitaire.
The Weekend Gamer: This involves a lot of flash games, occasional console game or some online gambling just for fun.
The Casual Gamer: This type of gamer usually call themselves gamers, but really aren’t. They like to play console games because they are inexpensive, portable, and easy to operate. Sometimes they jump on the PC and play a game or two, usually single player.
The Hard Core Gamer: Plays consoles and or PC’s online mostly and spend an excessive amount of time doing so. These gamers usually get into a single game and try to get really good at it so they can pwn for the adrenalin rush of pwning n00bs.
The Extreme Gamer: Xtreme gamers love competition, they game online and rarely ever offline. They are in it to win it and play specifically for the challenge and satisfaction of winning. They enter competitions, tournaments, and events to show off their skills and are very good at what they do.
The True Gamer: Here are the gamers who have the passion for gaming! They think, live, breathe, and talk gaming. Their life revolves around it; they will play any game, any time, and will accept any challenge. True Gamers love what they do and have fun doing it. They usually have a goal set to play a vast number of games decreasing their learning curve and increasing their knowledge of gaming.
Now that you know the different types of gamers, you know what type of gamer you are. It’s important to know what type of gamer you are if you are here to improve your gaming skills and status. Many, many people think they are gamers when in fact they are not. If you are not a Hard Core Gamer or have an even higher gaming status, then this guide full of tips will help you achieve the status you want.
Gaming isn’t for everyone and I don’t expect everyone to agree with me or my opinions, but keep in mind that a lot of this stuff is opinion or the unwritten rules of gaming.
